Wiveliscombe Young Farmers was formed on 26th January 1934, with the first meeting being held in the Council Chambers, Wiveliscombe.
Now in its Seventy First year it is one of the up and coming clubs in the county with members over the years representing Somerset YFC at National Level.
The Club started like many other such clubs with a calf rearing competition, encouraging members to rear their own Devon heifer calves and keep records about them.
Over the years we have grown from strength to strength with members taking part in many traditional competitions such as stock judging, stock rearing, public speaking, hedge laying, rope making, sports and many home crafts.
